Made from whole bunch pressed grapes produced exclusively on La Motte, this Chardonnay bears testimony to the Franschhoek Valley's terroir being exceptionally suited to this variety. Fermented and matured in French oak barrels, the wine is full-bodied and fruity with subtle wood flavors and an elegant character.

This Chardonnay white wine is excellent with caviar, snails, carpaccio paté, crayfish (Cape rock lobster), prawns, mussels, perlemoen (abalone) and creamy cheese.
